House Cleaning Routine

Illustration

Nobody likes to clean the house, it's true. But there are a few tricks that can help you spend a lot less time cleaning. Cleaning sounds like a simple task, but it can actually be one of the most tedious and time-consuming things you have to do in your busy day. When your house is spotless, though, you'll feel refreshed and relaxed — just like you've taken a vacation! If you're looking for some tips on how to make cleaning at home faster and easier, we've got them below!
Start with the kitchen. The kitchen is usually the messiest room in the house. Cleaning it first means that everything else will be easier to clean because there will be less dirt around to track around the rest of the house.
Wash dishes as soon as you use them — don't let them pile up in the sink! Rinse all plates, pots and pans with water, then dry them and put them away immediately so they're not sitting on your counter tops collecting dust and germs. If possible, put dishes in their own bin or basket so you can take them out right away when you're done eating instead of having to reach into a pile of dirty dishes every day.
Empty your trash cans daily by taking out all garbage before bed and putting it outside for collection or recycling if possible (don't forget about recycling!). Then wipe down inside of the trash can with disinfectant wipes until it's shiny again.
Sweep or vacuum floors at least once per week (more often if necessary)
● Clean out cabinets and drawers● Take out the trash and recycling● Tidy up● Wipe down surfaces● Make your bed as soon as you wake up● Wipe down the kitchen counters every day● Sweep the kitchen and bathroom floors daily
It's not hard to clean the house if you break it down into daily tasks.
Hopefully, by now you are ready to try out your own house cleaning routine. And if you start to use these suggestions in your own house, I imagine your house will have never been so clean and shiny! Congrats and Enjoy!
